		<description>I also find this very annoying of Adobe - so much so, that whenever I need to download Adobe reader I go to FileHippo.com and get the latest version (http://filehippo.com/download_adobe_reader/).

No prompts, no &#039;please install 3 apps just for the hell of it before you get the one you need&#039;, and no hassle!

*Sigh*, if only everything was as simple as point and click! :P</description>

Yes, it can be a useless tool in some cases. Perhaps, an optional choice will be better than force you to use their own &quot;Download Manager&quot;. I miss the days of Macromedia.
